(4) 2007 年台灣希望職業高爾夫巡迴賽獎金排名前 6 名
(5) 2008 年亞洲職業高爾夫巡迴賽會員手冊規則 1.2(i) 前 65 名選手
(6) 2008 年台灣希望職業巡迴賽各站冠軍 ( 本賽前 )
(7) 2008 年中華民國高爾夫協會業餘選手年度排名前三名

 比賽辦法：

(1) 本比賽為 4 回合 72 洞之比桿賽
(2) 所有選手可參加前二回合賽事，前二回合結束取最優之前 50 名選手 ( 含同桿者 ) 進入後兩回合
(3) 由累計桿數最少之職業球員榮膺名人賽冠軍
(4) 如遇第一名平手時，採延長加洞賽，以驟死賽方式逐洞競技至勝負分曉。
(5) 本比賽遵守最新公佈之 R&A 國際高爾夫規則及比賽執行委員會所核定之比賽單行規則。
(6) 如遇天候惡劣等不可抗力之因素影響而必須縮短賽程時，至少必須完成 36 洞，比賽方為有效。

九、
 報名費：
  依據亞洲巡迴賽章程，亞洲巡迴賽會員繳交報名費美金70元，非亞洲巡迴賽會員則向大會繳交新台幣2000元整，於報到日繳交。
十、
 桿弟費：
  每18洞新台幣2,500元，報到時須先繳交第一、二回合桿弟費共計新台幣5,000元；第三回合出發前，需繳交三、四回合桿弟費新台幣5,000元。
十一、
 獎金：

(1) 完成 72 洞之獎金分配如附表。除第一名外，其他各名次如有桿數相同者，得平分該各名次獎金。
(2) 若因不可抗力之因素無法完成 72 洞時，獎金之分配由比賽執行委員會裁定之。
(3) 選手所得比賽獎金需扣繳所得稅

  1. Champions of the 1999-2008 Mercuries Taiwan Masters Golf Tournament.
  2. The first 10 players, including ties, in previous year Mercuries Taiwan Masters Golf Tournament.
  3. The 30 leaders on the Final Official Taiwan Golf Tour Money List for 2007. (R.O.C. players only)
  4. 65 players from the Asian Tour in accordance with Regulation 1.2 Note (i) of the Asian Tour Members General Regulation Handbook.
  5. The 6 leader players of 2007 Taiwan Hope Tour Order of Merit.
  6. The tournament winners of the 2008 Taiwan Hope Tour prior to the 2008 Mercuris Taiwan Masters.
  7. The tournament winners of the 2008 Asain Tour prior to the 2008 Mercuris Taiwan Masters.
  8. The 3 leaders on the Taiwan Amateur Order of Merit.
  9. Sponsors’ exemption.
六、
 Condition of Play：
  1. 72 holes stroke-play (4 rounds).
  2. Players will play one round on each of the first two days. After 36 holes the leading 45 and those players tying for 45th place will go forward the 3rd and 4th round.
  3. The player with the lowest aggregate score will be declared the Champion of the 14th Mercuries Cup Masters Golf Tournament.
  4. In the event of a tie(s) for the first place, there shall be a play-off (stroke play) to determine the winner on the holes selected by the Tournament Committee.
  5. The rules of the R&A as well as local rules modified by the Tournament Committee.
  6. If the event is shorten due to adverse weather, or any other occurrence, players need to complete at least 36 holes in order to be official.

 Entry Fee：

The Entry fees for the event shall be USD 70 in accordance with the Asian Tour handbook. The Fees collected from the Asian Tour Members will remain the property of the Asian Tour. Entry fees for Non Asian Tour members will be for the property of the event sponsor.
九、
 Caddie Fee：
 
  1. The caddie fee is NT$2,500 per round.
  2. Please pay the first two rounds of NT$5,000 while registering. Pay the final two rounds of NT$5,000 before you start the 3rd round.
  3. For the caddie arrangement, if you have your own caddie, please announce before September 12. Otherwise, you have to pay the caddie fee.
  4. On practice rounds, the caddie fee is NT$2,000 per round.（one caddie for two players）
十、
 Prize：
 
  1. In the event of a tie(s) for any other places except the champion, the prize monies for such places will be added up and divided equally among those ties.
  2. If the event is shorten due to adverse weather, or any other occurrence, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to amend the Prize List.
  3. The Prize Money is subject to enclose tax reduction and 6% of Levy.
