Eligibility: |

- Champions of the 1999-2008 Mercuries Taiwan Masters Golf Tournament.
- The first 10 players, including ties, in previous year Mercuries Taiwan Masters Golf Tournament.
- The 30 leaders on the Final Official Taiwan Golf Tour Money List for 2007. (R.O.C. players only)
- 65 players from the Asian Tour in accordance with Regulation 1.2 Note (i) of the Asian Tour Members General Regulation Handbook.
- The 6 leader players of 2007 Taiwan Hope Tour Order of Merit.
- The tournament winners of the 2008 Taiwan Hope Tour prior to the 2008 Mercuris Taiwan Masters.
- The tournament winners of the 2008 Asain Tour prior to the 2008 Mercuris Taiwan Masters.
- The 3 leaders on the Taiwan Amateur Order of Merit.
- Sponsors’ exemption.

Condition of Play: |
|
- 72 holes stroke-play (4 rounds).
- Players will play one round on each of the first two days. After 36 holes the leading 45 and those players tying for 45th place will go forward the 3rd and 4th round.
- The player with the lowest aggregate score will be declared the Champion of the 14th Mercuries Cup Masters Golf Tournament.
- In the event of a tie(s) for the first place, there shall be a play-off (stroke play) to determine the winner on the holes selected by the Tournament Committee.
- The rules of the R&A as well as local rules modified by the Tournament Committee.
- If the event is shorten due to adverse weather, or any other occurrence, players need to complete at least 36 holes in order to be official.

Entry Fee: |

The Entry fees for the event shall be USD 70 in accordance with the Asian Tour handbook. The Fees collected from the Asian Tour Members will remain the property of the Asian Tour. Entry fees for Non Asian Tour members will be for the property of the event sponsor. |

Caddie Fee: |
| |
- The caddie fee is NT$2,500 per round.
- Please pay the first two rounds of NT$5,000 while registering. Pay the final two rounds of NT$5,000 before you start the 3rd round.
- For the caddie arrangement, if you have your own caddie, please announce before September 12. Otherwise, you have to pay the caddie fee.
- On practice rounds, the caddie fee is NT$2,000 per round.(one caddie for two players)

Prize: |

- In the event of a tie(s) for any other places except the champion, the prize monies for such places will be added up and divided equally among those ties.
- If the event is shorten due to adverse weather, or any other occurrence, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to amend the Prize List.
- The Prize Money is subject to enclose tax reduction and 6% of Levy.
